Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Summit Lakeside Environmental Services Group is an environmental-services company in Colorado Springs with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for fleet maintenance. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with fleet maintenance. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Colorado Springs. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
