Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Cedar Stone Freight Group coordinates shipments and warehousing around Providence, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for customer tracking. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with customer tracking. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
