Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Ironwood Beacon Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Seattle, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for supplier deliveries. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
