Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Fernwood Rowan Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Birmingham region, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 153 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for grower contracts. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with grower contracts. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
