Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Raleigh, NC)

Redstone Pike Press is a printer and publisher in Raleigh serving local and national clients. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for proofing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with proofing. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Raleigh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
