Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Philadelphia, PA)

Greenridge Cross Freight is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for customer tracking, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for customer tracking. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with customer tracking.
