Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Philadelphia, PA)

Fernwood Basin Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Philadelphia, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for service complaints. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with service complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Philadelphia. • We reply to every applicant.
