Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Philadelphia, PA)

Stonegate Pine Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Philadelphia plant. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for bindery work. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with bindery work. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Philadelphia. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
