Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Orlando, FL)

Amberfield Keystone Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Orlando. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 23 people based in Orlando. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Orlando. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
