Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Orlando, FL)

Cedar Kestrel Markets Group serves neighbourhoods around Orlando with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for promotions. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with promotions. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Orlando. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
