Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Omaha, NE)

Summit North Auto Group is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for vehicle inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 96 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for vehicle inspections. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with vehicle inspections. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Omaha, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
