Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Oakland, CA)

Harborlight Meadow Auto Group is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for customer estimates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for customer estimates. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with customer estimates. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
