Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Bridge Farms and adding a Senior Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for seasonal crews. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with seasonal crews. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
