Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Minneapolis, MN)

Harborlight Iron Manufacturing is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for scrap and rework, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for scrap and rework. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with scrap and rework. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
