Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Madison, WI)

Stonegate Cedar Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Madison. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for certifications. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with certifications. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Madison. • We reply to every applicant.
