Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Little Rock, AR)

Redstone Bright Manufacturing Group is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for customer orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for customer orders. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Little Rock, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
