Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Knoxville, TN)

Rivermark Umber Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Knoxville area, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for outage reports. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with outage reports. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Knoxville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
