Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Knoxville, TN)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Quarry Environmental Services Group and adding a Senior Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for service complaints. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with service complaints. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
