Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Kansas City, MO)

Stonegate Quarry Freight Group is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for customer tracking, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 962 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for customer tracking. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with customer tracking. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
