Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Kansas City, MO)

Ironwood Meadow Construction delivers building projects for owners across the Kansas City region, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 45 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for project schedules. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with project schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Kansas City. • We reply to every applicant.
