Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Kansas City, MO)

Westbrook Fox Auto Group Partners operates automotive service and parts businesses around Kansas City. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. Service hours are steady. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for supplier deliveries. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Kansas City. • We reply to every applicant.
