Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Kansas City, MO)

Westbrook Mill Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Kansas City region, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for packing house output. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with packing house output. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
