Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Jacksonville, FL)

Ironwood Glen Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Jacksonville area. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for field visits. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with field visits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Jacksonville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
