Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Houston, TX)

Bluepeak Wren Farms Group is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for harvest schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are a family-run business at heart. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for harvest schedules. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
