Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Grand Rapids, MI)

We are growing our team at Nova Iron Auto Group and adding a Senior Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of about 756 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for warranty claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with warranty claims. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
