Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Grand Rapids, MI)

We are growing our team at Cedar Kestrel Markets Partners and adding a Senior Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 163 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for store inventory. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with store inventory. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
