Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Grand Rapids, MI)

Nova Quarry Farms Partners grows and distributes produce from farms near Grand Rapids. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 68 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for grower contracts. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with grower contracts. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
