Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Grand Rapids, MI)

Amberfield Wilder Construction is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for materials orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for materials orders. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with materials orders. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
