Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Grand Rapids, MI)

Greenridge River Markets serves neighbourhoods around Grand Rapids with fresh food and everyday goods, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 15 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for online orders. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with online orders. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
