Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Grand Rapids, MI)

Rivermark Ridge Markets serves neighbourhoods around Grand Rapids with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for promotions. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with promotions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
