Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Grand Rapids, MI)

Fernwood Keystone Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Grand Rapids, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for scheduling. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with scheduling. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
