Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Cleveland, OH)

Cedar Foods is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for sanitation schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 166 people based in Cleveland. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for sanitation schedules. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with sanitation schedules. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Cleveland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
