Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Charlotte, NC)

We are growing our team at Cedar West Environmental Services and adding a Senior Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 75 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for fleet maintenance. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Charlotte. • We reply to every applicant.
