Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Charlotte, NC)

Redstone Oak Foods is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for cold storage, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 331 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for cold storage. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Charlotte, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
