Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Charleston, SC)

Harborlight Forge Inspection Services Partners is an inspection company in Charleston with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for client sites. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with client sites. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
