Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Buffalo, NY)

Amberfield Quarry Environmental Services Group collects and processes waste and recycling around Buffalo. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 143 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for recycling loads. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with recycling loads. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
