Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Buffalo, NY)

Ironwood Rowan Foods Group is a Buffalo food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for customer specifications. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with customer specifications. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
