Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Boise, ID)

Summit Quarry Telecom is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for field visits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for field visits. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with field visits. • Knowledge of freight terms.
