Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Austin, TX)

Harborlight Iron Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Austin, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for vehicle inspections. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with vehicle inspections. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
