Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Atlanta, GA)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Forge Environmental Services Group and adding a Senior Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for collection routes. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with collection routes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Atlanta. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
