Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Atlanta, GA)

Northwind West Telecom Group is a telecommunications provider in Atlanta focused on reliable home and business connections. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 155 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for outage reports. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with outage reports. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Atlanta. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
