Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Atlanta, GA)

Redstone Bridge Environmental Services is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for service complaints, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for service complaints. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with service complaints. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Atlanta. • We reply to every applicant.
