Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Anchorage, AK)

We are growing our team at Summit River Manufacturing and adding a Senior Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for machine downtime. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
