Senior IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Rochester, NY)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Beacon Water Authority and adding a Senior IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be user accounts and access. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
