Senior IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Richmond, VA)

Northwind Forge Foods is a Richmond food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
