Senior IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Fernwood Cobalt Insurance is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for underwriting files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with underwriting files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Spokane. • We reply to every applicant.
