Senior IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Lumen Keystone Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Rochester. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with scheduling. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
