Senior IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Foxglove Lantern Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Jackson. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with premium billing. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
