Senior IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Amberfield Meadow Community Partners runs community programmes across Portland. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with client intake. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
