Senior IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Rivermark Bright Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Reno area. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
